The Happiest Christians

Even though we're a few days removed from Father's Day, it would be worth your time to check out this post by Ray Ortlund, Jr., "10 Unforgettable Lessons on Fatherhood." Much of it is helpful, whether you're a dad or not. But one section is especially worth reflecting on. Ortlund remembers his dad often saying something like:

“Listen, son. Half-hearted Christians are the most miserable people of all. They know enough about God to feel guilty, but they haven’t gone far enough with Christ to be happy. Be all-out for him! I don’t care if you’re a ditch-digger, as long as you love the Lord with all your heart.”

Here's to being all-out for Jesus.
