The 2015 Christmas Offering

The Christmas Offering has become an important annual tradition at Redemption Gateway. Each year the elders select a number of causes and our congregation generously gives  over-and-above to support these initiatives.

2015 Christmas Offering Goal: $40,000.

WHERE WILL THIS MONEY GO?

This year's Christmas Offering is built around the mission of Redemption Church to"birth and strengthen healthy local congregations."We're borrowing the shape of this offering from the words of Jesus soon after his resurrection:But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem [HOME] and in all Judea and Samaria [NEAR], and to the end of the earth [FAR]. (Acts 1:8)In other words, we'll give to things that will make an impact here at home, nearby, and far across the world.

FAR | "END OF THE EARTH"

CHURCH PLANT | USKUDAR, TURKEYOne of our partners in Turkey recently launched a new church plant in Uskudar (central Istanbul). Following a multi-congregational church planting approach similar to Redemption, Pastor Ali and this church are faithfully sharing the gospel and making disciples.

NEAR | "JUDEA & SAMARIA"

	REMNANT | SOUTH PHOENIXFormer Redemption Pastoral Resident Warren Stewart is leading a dynamicchurch plant in South Phoenix. Few new churches get started in this part of the city (19th Ave & Southern), and we're thankful to be part of supporting this gospel-centered, multi-ethnic church.
	LIVING STONE COMMUNITY CHURCH | EASTMARKWhitney Clayton (pictured with his wife Ali and their three boys) is in the early stages of church planting up the road in Eastmark (Ellsworth & Ray). It's a growing community with many new people who need to hear about Jesus. Our support will help them start well.
	HEART CRY GATHERING | QUEEN CREEKPastor Trey Van Camp is planting a new church meeting at the Harkins in Queen Creek Marketplace (Ellsworth & Rittenhouse) beginning January 10, 2016. Trey has a big heart for seeing people meet Jesus. We're excited to invest in another gospel partner just down the road.

HOME | "JERUSALEM"

ROOTS INITIATIVERoots is a future-oriented vision to sink roots into this community for the glory of God and the good of our neighbors. Paying off our 10.5 acres will position us to prepare to build a long-term gospel outpost in the southeast valley. Watch our vision video here.We are over ¾ of the way toward our $1M goal. A strong Christmas Offering will position us to finish this initiative strong.

HOW TO GIVE

During a Service

Cash or check can be given during any of our Sunday services. Please make checks out to "Redemption Gateway" and write Christmas Offering in the memo line. If you'd like to receive a tax deduction for cash gifts, the gift should be placed in an offering envelope with your name and address on it. Offering envelopes are available at all of our congregations.
